Robin Hood County- Clumber Park

Clumber Park, Worksop, Notts

(was once part of Sherwood Forest)

National Trust

🌲 I used to visit here a lot as a child and have very fond memories. I’ve now taken my children on 2 occasions when camping near by. The last time was last May half term 2021

🌲 Low in cost for a day out, £12.50 per family, (we had to pre book as was still in covid restrictions)

🌲 We hire bikes, all kinds available, tag along, trailers, child seats etc. There are some great routes around a beautiful lake, we did find signage confusing in parts but the routes are great.

🌲 As ever we take picnics and then just buy coffees and ice creams. There are lovely places to stop all the way around, shaded areas in the woods too.

🌲 There is a walled kitchen garden, a beautiful church and other places of interest but we tend to stick to cycling/walking. There is also a fantastic playground but the whole place is a natural playground for children!
