Camping- Fallow Fields- Kent

FallowFields, Selson Farm, Sandwich Kent.

⛺️ For a campsite along the Kent coast we love Fallow Fields near Sandwich.

We have been to this site a couple of times and really love the vibe here. It's very popular though so book early!

⛺️ We camp but there are pre erected and furnished bell tents, our friends stayed in one of these and we were able to camp next to them so socialising was easy.

The pitches are divided by long grass which makes your pitch feel personal.

☕️🍕🍾 There is a shop for barista coffee and they have food nights, which we like to do for arrival on the Friday night, we had Pizzas. Also there is a little camp shop and a Gin and Fizz bar.

📽️ The children loved playing around here, there is table tennis, swing ball, giant chess, on Saturdays in the holidays they have a family cinema night in one of their tents, welly wanging, bush craft etc. Unfortunately these latter things were not running when we were there due to covid so we must return!

🚙 The site doesn’t allow cars on the pitch so there are dozens of wheel barrows you can borrow to load up your stuff. The wheelbarrows were a highlight for the children!

☀️ Around and about you can visit Deal, a coastal town we love and great for cycling along the coast. Here is a steep shelving pebble beach. Alternatively you can head to Margate to enjoy the beach and fair there. We also liked Botany Bay and Broadstairs. So much to explore but also so relaxing hanging around the camp.
